Colour Field painting is described as large areas of colour, typically without strong tonal contrasts or a defined point of focus. In this collection, I have strived to create luminosity and radiance within the pieces to affect an expansive presence and intimacy between the viewer and the paintings.

The paintings in ‘The Crib Collection are inspired by the timber and stone ‘crib’ submerged just off Jolly Island in Horseshoe Bay, ON. It is a wonderous yet eerie formation built years ago looming just below the surface of Lake Superior.”
